Required skills

Explain how to present guest checks and settle bills.
Demonstrates how to greet and seat guests and anticipate guest needs
Provides expert consultation, assistance, and guidance to individuals, groups, and organizations
Handles special guest situations, including substitutions
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Answering phone calls and questions
Comprehend critical knowledge and skills to prepare for employment in the hospitality profession
Answers incoming administrative, non-emergency, and emergency telephone lines in a courteous and professional manner
Use a tone and word choice appropriate for the industry and organization (e.g., writing is professional and courteous).
Is pleasant, courteous, and professional when dealing with internal or external customers.
Courteously and efficiently and informs guests of hotel services, features and room amenities
Provides information to guest/visitor inquiries; coordinates all guest requests for special arrangements or services
Ability to be dependable, committed to doing the job correctly and carefully, and trustworthy, accountable, and attentive to details.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of the city and its venues
Practices warm hospitality and telephone courtesy at all times
Coordinates and inputs all Guestware information and assist in the schedule of Guest Response Agents
Answers and processes all calls received through the PBX station in accordance with established standards
Excellent telephone etiquette
