Overview

To provide safe and properly functioning clinical equipment systems and electronic instrumentation in a cost-effective manner.

Required Credentials

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Long Certificate in Biomedical Equipment Technology
This credential prepares individuals on advanced applications of electronic circuits, and biomedical instrumentation used in hospitals and healthcare sectors.

Sensory requirement

PHYSICAL FACTORS

  • Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Climbing stairs and ladders. Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, reaching, handling, feeling, and working in a confined space.
