Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Service Technician to join Illinois Electric Works. If you have strong electrical troubleshooting ability and mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Duties:
- Perform diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Conduct repairs and maintenance
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Requirements
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required, further degree a plus
- 2+ years of experience working with industrial equipment, including cranes and hoists
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for electric equipment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Able to work at great heights
- Proficiency in operating cranes, hoists, and other relevant equipment a plus; willingness to learn to operate cranes, and other relevant equipment required
