Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
Listen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services
Inform customers about issues related to responsible use and disposal of products, such as waste reduction or product or byproduct recycling or disposal
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and cleaned and that accurate record keeping is done to achieve the maximum life from the vehicle
Stick to a schedule and be time-bound on the job
Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
Pick up and deliver parts
Efficiently and accurately pull orders when needed
Deliver requested products to customers, completing all require paperwork and documenting activities while sticking to a schedule
Accept payments for delivery
Drive trucks to deliver such items as food, medical supplies, or newspapers
Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment
Sell service contracts for technical or scientific products
Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
Advise customers on product usage to improve production.
Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts
Comply with all regulations relating to hazardous material shipping, delivery and handling
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
Maintaining orderliness of warehouse and work area at all times
Drive trucks in order to deliver such items as food, medical supplies, or newspapers
Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money
Compliance with safety policies including the wearing of proper safety equipment
Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes
Maintain a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation
Have the ability to prepare and install marketing collatoral at client locations
Load and unload the vehicle as needed
Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
Deliver various items to different addresses as assigned
Manage quality communication, customer support and product representation for each client
Follow road safety rules and regulations
Sell technical and scientific products that are environmentally sound or designed for environmental remediation
Understand company software and paper work procedures and accurately complete applicable forms
Handle paperwork, such as receipts or delivery confirmation notices
Build strong customer relationships, loyalty and retention through exceptional customer service
Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements
Negotiate details of contracts and payments
Arrange merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
Keep their truck and associated equipment clean and in working order
Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising
Sort packages by region, deliver packages to customers, handle cash-on-delivery payments, process business pickups
Buy products from manufacturers or brokerage firms and distribute them to wholesale and retail clients
