- Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and advertising
- Navigates through different computer systems (internet, intranet) so find customer parts
- Attempts sales of additional needed or related parts or accessories
- Determines replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions
- Pulls orders for delivery, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number
- Demonstrates equipment to customers, and explain functioning of equipment
- Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements
