Summary
This role is responsible for order fulfillment, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping of product orders, and processing all inbound and outbound freight, packages, and Fed Ex, during normal operating hours. Position requires supporting all aspects of the warehouse operation.
Duties
• Perform duties in accordance with IMS’s defined quality system.
• Accurately process all inbound/outbound freight and packages for both domestic and international delivery, including scheduling international shipments for specialty carriers. Accurate completion of all international documentation as required by the specific country, Customer or broker.
• Accurately process and maintain all shipping/receiving documents, and process necessary paperwork as required.
• Process outbound items for both domestic and international delivery utilizing IMS’s Oracle system.
• Maintain packaging materials as necessary and place orders for restocking materials.
• Support Warehouse Supervisor and other personnel by alerting them to low stocking levels to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
• Accurately receive and keep record of serial and lot # inventory items; pull / ship in a manner to ensure usage of product within expiration dates as appropriate.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or security discrepancies to the appropriate facility Maintenance Employee.
• Receive into Oracle, unpack, identify, examine and sort incoming products and miscellaneous items. Accurately stock inventory in appropriate locator bins.
• Support the Quality function in QA/QC of incoming materials. Keep accurate records of all vendor issues as they relate to quality and ISO standards, and record those on monthly reports, in compliance with the standards set forth in our quality manual.
• Accurately complete the RMA process including accurate disposition, reporting and inventory adjustments. Communicate and resolve all related issues with the vendor and successfully obtain RMA and return product to vendor.
• Accurately complete daily cycle counting, recording and reporting of selected inventory items.
• Gain appropriate certification to enable the shipment of hazardous materials and to operate powered industrial trucks; forklift operator training, as applicable.
• Maintain receiving, shipping & warehouse area in clean, safe & orderly manner.
