Job Description
Lead the overall operational management of assigned area through application of problem solving, continuous improvement and associate mentoring/development, in alignment with efficient production, new model introduction, business plan implementation and innovation to achieve or exceed targets that promote associate success.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop proactive management activities to identify root cause(s) to cell/robot performance with countermeasures.
• Stabilize production related downtime.
• Lead equipment operator training / skill up activity.
• Implement and manage equipment countermeasures for downtime.
• Coordinate weld breakdown within assigned area.
• Manage operators and equipment repair and maintenance of assigned area.
• Support offline groups (Weldability, New Model, Quality) and coordinate operator support.
• Coordinate Cycle Down activity in assigned area.
• Set up and maintain master list for all welding hardware.
• Coordinate and support investment projects.
• Support ordering of replacement parts for equipment.
• Train operators to complete their daily tasks.
• Complete monthly calibrations for ultrasonic inspection.
