Job Description

Performs a variety of routine inspecting of E-Coat parts, shipping and receiving tasks. Compares identifying information on incoming and outgoing shipments with packing slips, purchase orders, invoices, or other documents. Under the direction of the Logistics Manager coordinates all activities related to shipping and receiving activities as well as inventory control for the company. QC Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned.

Performs and accurately records quality checks on products as specified
Communicates concerns about quality or quantity of production with team in the production chain
Reads and interprets work orders and instructions to determine work assignments, process specifications, and production schedules
Reads work orders or receives oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs
Communicates effectively to elicit and provide information
Prepares production documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, or productivity reports
Records operational information on specified production reports
Updates productivity records and writes incident reports, if relevant
Ensures safe and productive manufacturing workplace
Utilize effective, safety-enhancing workplace practices
Employs inventory and inventory controls
Completes in-process inspections; follows work instructions and control plan
Maintains inventory control and security of all tools, materials, supplies, and equipment at all times
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Handle material responsibility, using appropriate material handling equipment
Operate material handling equipment
Loads and unloads raw materials and equipment
Packs, loads, secures, and unloads cargo
Drives forklift truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, fork-grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move materials in warehouse or factory
Perform basic mathematical calculations
Handle material responsibility, using appropriate material handling equipment
Operate material handling equipment
Monitors production quality, including the inspection of parts and products, and troubleshoot if necessary to improve quality and accuracy

Sensory requirement

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Repetitive bending, squatting, reaching, stooping, lifting/reaching overhead, walking and standing.
