Job Description

Utilize technical expertise to identify asset reliability risks and create/manage strategies to improve asset availability

Key Accountabilities

  • Create, implement and manage predictive maintenance program to ensure equipment availability. 
  • Create, implement and manage a life cycle strategy to ensure equipment availability at optimal cost.
  • Develop capability of self and team through training mentorship to foster reliability culture.
  • Investigate, learn and implement new or existing technology to improve asset performance. 
  • Utilize data analysis and customer feedback to identify potential problems and develop countermeasures to reduce impact to SQCDME (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, and Environmental). 
  • Lead cross function team analysis activities to identify criticality, failure mode and root cause to improve/sustain asset reliability. 
  • Review equipment downtime reporting data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate and communicate equipment activities with internal/external departments to understand change points and adopt best practices that will improve equipment reliability.
  • Confirm spare parts accuracy and availability to achieve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) targets.
  • Support equipment specification design and acceptance to improve equipment MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time between Failures) characteristics
