Description

The Tool and Die Maker will cut, shape, finish, and maintain tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs made of a variety of metals. Setup and perform first article inspections of new, modified, and repaired tooling.

Required Credentials

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Machine Tool Technology Tool and Die Short-Term Certificate
This is an advanced certificate that prepares students in setting up and operating a variety of computer-controlled or mechanically controlled tools and the ability to modify tool design.
